Open Question: Droid Screen Not Working Properly, Actually Not At All?
I have a Motorola Droid 2 Global and after two months, I hated this phone. Always froze, spazzed out, restarted itself, press random buttons on its own, call people by itself, etc. I've been wanting a new phone for a while but I hung in there with this phone. In August of 2011, my friend had bumped into me, I tried to save my phone but I didn't catch it in time. The phone landed face/front/glass down which ended up shattering the front face. I was crying. It still behaved the same as before, if not worse. Recently, pieces had started falling out of the top, even with the screen protecter (I didn't get a new phone because dropping it voids the warranty). Yesterday, a pretty big chunk came out of the top, just above the speaker. Out with this chunk of glass came random numbers and a strip of something that looked like part of a circuit. Ever since then the screen has become more and more unusable. What I mean is that, starting at the left, going towards the right, I'm not able to touch the screen, its non-responding, I could press very little. It went so far that only half of a centimeter of the screen recognizes that I'm touching it. In return I can't use the phone at all because I can't unlock it (the button that says 'slide to unlock' is un-clickable.) So basically my question is are you able to unlock the phone with just the keypad? please help!:(
